For over 30 years, nda has been helping organisations that deliver public services to promote positive change in key aspects of their work.

Often that change is necessary to bring about improvements in performance, resulting in better outcomes for customers, services and the organisation itself.

We are excited to share with you a tested way to commission or redesign your services through a creative, co-produced and collaborative approach.

We have used this approach successfully with Gloucestershire County Council to help them recommission supported housing services; and to develop their 2018-2021 Sufficiency Strategy for Looked After Children.

What makes the nda approach different to others?

We use our combined management and creative arts experiences to provide a different synergy.  Listening and capturing visually people’s stories is at the heart of our consultancy approach and service redesign work.

We use informal and self-directed conversations to capture information through graphic recording. As people see the information drawn in real time it enhances the story that is shared.

What results can you expect?

From the record of each conversation taken together we use a grounded theory approach to highlight emerging themes that can inform strategy or service development. It will clearly tell you what good looks like.

These themes are, of course, checked and tested with stakeholders through a ‘second-level’ of exploration before final conclusions are reached.

The images can be used in many ways, including the provision of learning and reflection sessions for staff and partners.

All images belong to the organisation, and we will provide you with digital copies that can be used to enhance documents.
